The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) announced an online discussion on supply chain disruptions and challenges due to the war in Ukraine.

A professional discussion with the exchange of experience about the problems of logistics and supply chain gaps in Ukraine, region and the world after two months of war is guaranteed, the organizers promise.

Since 1963, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) has been the largest association of supply chain management professionals headquartered in the United States with over 16,000 members worldwide. CSCMP’s ongoing mission is to advance the supply chain profession by connecting, educating, and developing the world’s supply chain management professionals throughout their careers.

CSCMP’s online discussion “Disruptions in supply chains due to the war in Ukraine” is a unique opportunity to hear the latest analytics on how the war affected world markets, shortages, prices.

As part of the event, the best Ukrainian logistics specialists, members of CSCMP Ukraine, will talk about their experience in solving complex logistics problems during the war:

  • transportation of goods and delivery of orders;
  • delivery of humanitarian aid;
  • production planning;
  • distribution in a retail network;
  • provision of pharmacies with medicines;
  • other logistics tasks.

At the end, there will be a broad open discussion on the main problems faced by logisticians in Ukraine and abroad due to the disruption of supply chains and hostilities.
