The index of completed construction works in Ukraine at the end of 2025 increased by 12% compared to 2024. This is evidenced by data from the State Statistics Service.
Non-residential construction experienced significant growth – by 27.4% y/y. Residential construction grew by 13.6% y/y, while the engineering construction segment saw growth of 3.6% y/y. Overall, construction of buildings (residential and non-residential) grew by 23.1% y/y.
In monetary terms, the volume of construction output for the year amounted to UAH 248.1 billion, including UAH 113.23 billion in the building sector (UAH 33.17 billion for residential buildings and UAH 81.06 billion for non-residential buildings) and UAH 133.9 billion in civil engineering.
The share of new construction in the total volume of construction work performed was 40.3%, repairs – 33.2%, reconstruction and technical re-equipment – 26.6%.

In terms of individual segments, the increase in the volume of construction work was as follows: residential construction – by 7.6% y/y, to UAH 26.6 billion; non-residential construction – an increase of 26.2% y/y, to UAH 57.7 billion; engineering structures – an increase of 12.5% y/y, to UAH 120.4 billion.
New construction accounted for 41.1% of the total volume of construction work performed, repairs – 32.6%, reconstruction and technical re-equipment – 26.3%.
