The updated equipment will be able to accept from 2.5 to 1.5 thousand tons of ore per hour

The Central Mining and Processing Plant (Central GOK), a part of the Metinvest group, repaired the crude crusher KKD 1500/180 and medium crusher KRD 900/100.

The message on the official website of Metinvest reports about it.

After restoration work, the processing equipment will accept from 2.5 to 1.5 thousand tons of iron ore per hour, the company says.

During the repair of the KKD 1500/180 crusher, 48 pieces of armor were replaced. In addition, the eccentric unit and two engine drives were serviced, the oil line was cleaned and the oil was replaced.

11 armor plates and eccentrics were restored, and the hydraulic cylinder and equipment drive were overhauled on the KRD 900/100 crusher.

As GMK Center reported at the end of last week, the Central GOK intend to expand dump No. 6 for placement of overburden.

In 2021, Central GOK decreased production of iron ore concentrate by 2.1% compared to 2020 – up to 4.8 million tons. Production of pellets decreased by 0.5% – up to 2.26 million tons.

Central GOK is among the five largest producers of iron ore in Ukraine. It specializes in production of concentrate with iron content of 65% and 68.2%, as well as pellets with iron content of 63.9%.
