ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih among the best employers for veterans

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih PJSC has been named one of the top three employers for veterans by Forbes Ukraine. This was announced in a statement by the company.

The publication’s ranking features companies that systematically support veterans and their families.

As noted, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih supports its employees during their service and after their return, creating conditions for professional and personal fulfillment.

The company has established a Coordination Center based at the Single Window Center, where specialists work to help veterans return to work.

Solutions have been implemented for the reintegration of veterans, including social integration, medical and rehabilitation support, psychological and legal support, employment and work support (retraining and advanced training, adaptation of workplaces for people with disabilities, introduction of remote work, etc.).

“If an employee cannot return to their previous position, they are offered alternative options. For example, one of the veterans was given a new role as a repair engineer,” the company notes.

ArcelorMittal University offers training in more than 350 professions, with English language courses and modern training programs available.

In July 2025, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih officially joined the Veteran-Friendly Business Principles. Currently, more than 3,000 employees of the company are defending Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces, and more than 230 have returned to the steel plant.
