ArcelorMittal is included in the rating of Ukrainian businesses with an impeccable reputation

PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has been ranked among the best companies in Ukraine with an impeccable reputation. This is stated in the company’s Facebook post.

ArcelorMittal took third place in the top 10 in the processing industry category according to the Index of the Best Enterprises of Ukraine 2024, published by the Opendatabot monitoring service.

The index, which reflects the real situation and geography of domestic business, takes into account the financial performance of companies over the past year, the absence of ties with Russia, and their business image.

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih plans to maximize the capacity of its mining division in 2024 and launch two blast furnaces in the steel division in April 2024, starting in the second quarter of this year, amid improved maritime logistics.

In 2023, the company produced 1 million tons of steel, 1.5 million tons of pig iron and 0.9 million tons of commercial rolled products. The plant continues to operate, contributing to the Ukrainian economy during the war, and maintains its production facilities in order to increase production as soon as possible if the situation improves.

As GMK Center reported earlier, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased steel production by 17% in February 2024 compared to February 2023, to 77 thousand tons. Rolled steel production for the month increased by 16% y/y – to 73 thousand tons, pig iron – by 33% y/y, to 116 thousand tons, iron ore concentrate – by 35% y/y, to 527 thousand tons, and blast furnace coke – by 57% y/y, to 77 thousand tons.
