In 2021, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih PJSC increased pig iron production by 7.9% to 5.34 million tons y-o-y, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
The Company increased production of rolled products by 5.2% to 4.6 million tons against 2020. Steel production went up by 5.2% to 4.92 million tons, and sinter by 7.3% to 5.34 million tons.
In December alone, AMKR produced 400 thousand tons of rolled products, 420 thousand tons of steel, 440 thousand tons of pig iron, 810 thousand tons of sinter and 250 thousand tons of coke.
As reported earlier, in 2020, ArcelorMittal increased iron ore concentrate production by 8.3% to 10.7 million tons, and pig iron production by 4.5% to 26.5 million tons.
