ANNOUNCEMENT: United by Mining International Forum

On September 24, 2025, the first annual United by Mining International Forum will be held in Kyiv.

The event is organized by the National Association of Mining Industries (NAMU) with the support of the Commercial Department of the US Embassy in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event will bring together representatives of government, business, international organizations, and investors to discuss the future of Ukraine’s resource economy.

The event program covers four key topics:

  • Ukraine’s strategic potential: the launch of the Reconstruction Fund and its role in the global supply chain
  • sustainable reconstruction of the country in the context of European integration
  • international partnership: mechanisms and successful cases in Ukraine in the critical minerals sector
  • defense hub – synergy between the defense and extractive industries to ensure national security.

Amid agreements signed between Ukraine, the US, and the EU in the field of strategic raw materials and joint development of deposits, the forum will be a key event for launching new projects, presenting investment opportunities, and forming long-term partnerships in the mining, energy, construction, and steel industries.

The mission of United by Mining is to create a modern model of partnership between Ukraine and the world in the field of natural resources, based on trust, sustainability, and shared responsibility for the future.

The key goal of the event is to create an open platform for dialogue between the government, business, investors, and international partners for the following purposes:

  • rethinking approaches to the development of Ukraine’s resource potential;
  • modernizing the extractive industry with a focus on innovation and sustainability;
  • attracting strategic investors and long-term capital;
  • improving the regulatory environment for industrial breakthroughs.

The forum will be attended by political leaders from Ukraine and partner countries, as well as heads of leading Ukrainian and international companies.

Participants will include:

  • Oleg Bondarenko, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management;
