ANNOUNCEMENT: SST FUTURE STEEL FORUM

On June 17-19, 2024, the seventh annual FUTURE STEEL FORUM 2024 conference, sponsored by Smart Steel Technologies, will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, to discuss the digitalization and decarbonization of steel production.

The event will bring together more than 200 executives from global steel companies from 20+ countries. The forum participants will discuss issues and provide examples of their approaches to the digitalization of production processes and the transition to Industry 4.0, as well as announce the benefits, challenges and successes on the way to these processes.

The first day of the conference will include a session dedicated to the latest technologies (robotics, artificial intelligence, digitalization and smart manufacturing) and their impact on the steel industry. The second day is dedicated to exploring sustainable development and environmental initiatives in the steel industry.

The Forum, which is being held for the seventh time, has firmly established itself as a conference worth attending for top managers of European steel companies with ambitions to move to smart manufacturing and decarbonize their facilities. The thoughts and ideas that will be presented at the event will help create a roadmap for green production and provide comprehensive information on future directions for the development of industrial processes.
