ANNOUNCEMENT: International Forum «Industrial Evolution. Production turns on the economy»

On April 24, Bila Tserkva Industrial Park will host the international forum «Industrial Evolution. Production turns on the economy».

The forum aims to stimulate the development of production, the transition to an innovative economy and GDP growth through high value-added products. The event will discuss current trends and opportunities for the development of Ukrainian industry.

The war destroyed a third of Ukraine’s industrial potential. To remain competitive, the country needs not just a restoration but a complete reboot of the manufacturing sector. Industrial parks, innovations, accelerators, international investments, and modern production ecosystems can become drivers of the new industrial economy. In addition, a strong industry is not only about GDP growth, but also about communities (new jobs, investments, and opportunities for regions).

«For economic success, Ukraine needs powerful innovative industries. We see how other developed countries – Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania – have achieved this thanks to the development of industry. My team and I have already implemented an industrial park in Bila Tserkva and this is an experience we are ready to share so that hundreds of new points of growth appear in the country. Therefore, we have created a platform for business, government and investors to find effective solutions for the development of production in Ukraine – today, without waiting for better times», says Vasyl Khmelnitsky, founder of UFuture Holding and initiator of the forum.

During the event, leaders of the manufacturing sector, representatives of the government and local authorities from all over Ukraine, investors, bankers and international partners will work together to find solutions to scale production, attract investment and implement advanced technologies.

The forum is aimed at those who are launching modern production facilities, entering global markets and making Made in Ukraine a quality mark.

The event program includes

  • 4 panel discussions on the future of production, investment and technology;
  • the grand opening of the plant of the Finnish company Peikko Group;
  • an expo zone with Ukrainian technological solutions for industry and urban infrastructure,
  • familiarization with examples of successful production projects on the territory of the industrial park,
  • networking with the opportunity to establish contacts with business, investors, and government officials.

Discussions focus on government incentive tools, regional support programs, tax policy, access to finance, technology and innovation. As well as transformation of vocational education to meet the needs of the new industry, development of industrial parks, attraction of foreign investments and practical experience of international companies that already locate production in Ukraine.
