In January–April 2021, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih PJSC (AMKR) cut production of rolled products by 3.3% to 1.5 million tons against the previous year, according to Interfax-Ukraine citing the updated statistics of the Company.
In 4M, steel production increased by 0.4% to 1.6 million tons against January–April 2020. Pig iron production rose by 10.1% to 1.83 million tons, and production of sinter ore by 4.8% to 3.2 million tons.
In April, AMKR produced 370 thousand tons of rolled products, 400 thousand tons of steel, 460 thousand tons of pig iron and 780 thousand tons of sinter ore.
In 2020, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih cut production of rolled products by 7.6% to 4.3 million tons against 2019. Steel production fell by 12.1% to 4.7 million tons, and pig iron by 6.9% to 4.9 million tons.
