Afif Najjar appointed Commercial Director of Interpipe

Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has announced the appointment of Afif Najjar as commercial director. He took up his new position on October 20, 2025, the company said.

Prior to joining Interpipe, Afif Najjar headed ATLAS TUBULAR, and before that, he worked for more than 15 years at the multinational pipe corporation Tenaris. His professional career at Tenaris began in 2009 as an analytical engineer, after which he held a number of management positions, including technical sales manager, senior commercial director for the US market, and vice president of supply chain and global services.

Najjar’s main areas of responsibility include business development, operational strategy implementation, contract execution support, and customer relationship management in key markets, particularly in the US.

Interpipe’s new commercial director holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.

Interpipe CEO Luca Zanotti noted that the appointment of Afif Najjar is an important step in the company’s development.

“His extensive experience in the pipe industry, combined with his analytical approach and entrepreneurial mindset, will be a significant advantage. We are confident that under his leadership, Interpipe will accelerate the development of value-added services for our customers, which will contribute to the further integration and differentiation of the company in the market,” he said.

As a reminder, Interpipe increased its pipe product sales by 14.4% in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, to 302,000 tons. Sales of railway products for the six months decreased by 5.2% year-on-year – to 55,000 tons.
