During the repair the traction generator will be replaced and the hydraulic pump will be upgraded
The Northern Mining and Processing Plant (Northern GOK) is restoring one of the country’s largest water-sprinkler hydromonitors. Metinvest.Media’s press release reports about it.
The cistern capacity of the hydromonitor machine, which has a powerful mobile pump, is 119 cubic meters. Its technical capabilities make it possible to irrigate the faces and technical roads in the irrigation zone up to 60 m without refueling for an hour. The machine will be able to start working again in October 2022.
During the repair carried out by the specialists of the enterprise, it is planned to:
- install a modern restored cabin;
- replace the traction generator and rear axle mounting brackets;
- modernize the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic control panel of the lift.
According to Sergiy Zolotoverkhy, the head of the workshop of the mining and transport shop №1, in the conditions of the war in Ukraine, the GOK specialists perform many works at the repair base of the enterprise without the involvement of service departments.
The hydromonitor worked in the Pervomaisky quarry. After its successful operation, such special equipment was also involved into operation at the industrial sites of the Central Mining and Processing Plant.
As GMK Center reported earlier, Northern GOK repaired the engine and cargo platform of a 130-ton dump truck. UAH 3.5 million was allocated for the overhaul of a Cummins diesel engine.
