Nine Metinvest enterprises were included in the rating of companies with an impeccable reputation

Nine companies of Metinvest Group have been included in the ranking of the best companies in Ukraine with an impeccable reputation. The company said in a statement.

The index of the best companies in Ukraine in 2024 was published by Opendatabot, a well-known service for monitoring the registration data of domestic companies and the court register. The list includes the largest businesses with an impeccable business image (the top 10 companies in each category).

The index took into account both the financial statements of the companies for 2023 and their business reputation. In particular, the list excluded sanctioned companies or businesses with Russian owners.

The top ten in four categories included nine Metinvest companies:

  • Processing industry – Zaporizhstal (No. 1), Kametstal (No. 2) and Zaporozhkoks (No. 9);
  • Mining – Pokrovske Mine Administration (No. 3), Northern Mining (No. 6), Svyato-Varvarinsky Enrichment Plant (No. 9), and Central Mining (No. 10);
  • Wholesale trade – Metinvest-SMC (No. 10);
  • Professional, scientific and technical activities – Metinvest Holding (No. 2).

According to Oleksiy Ivankin, founder of Opendatabot, the service index, based on financial statements and revenue of companies, gives a complete picture of what happened to Ukrainian business last year.

The Opendatabot index is an analytical tool that allows us to assess the real situation and geography of Ukrainian business. It is based on data from state registers, Opendatabot registers, financial statements of companies, information on relations with Russia, sanctions lists and other analytical tools of the service.

Metinvest Group, including its associates and joint ventures, paid UAH 14.6 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels in Ukraine in 2023. The largest contributions included a single social contribution (SSC) of UAH 3.3 billion, income tax of UAH 3.2 billion and personal income tax of over UAH 3 billion.
