Metinvest Group continues to provide defenders with the necessary ammunition and transport. As part of Rinat Akhmetov’s «Steel Front» military initiative, the company handed over an unusual armored car to a unit of the 36th separate marine brigade. It is stated in the message of Metinvest.Media.
Before the full-scale war, this car served as a collection vehicle, currently it will serve the Ukrainian military in the Donetsk direction.
«Here, in the Donetsk direction, Ukraine is being defended by real heroes. Successfully executed operations and tactical tasks of these fighters – enough for several books and films. Let them share these stories themselves when the time is right. But it is always appropriate to help these noble boys. So, as part of the Rinat Akhmetov’s «Steel Front», an armored car was transferred to the front line. Technically, the car is ready to squeeze out its maximum in combat conditions – Metinvest carmakers took care of this,» noted the company’s operations director Oleksandr Myronenko.
According to him, the amount of aid provided to the defenders of Ukraine by Metinvest is very large, and the group is not going to stop.
The military said that they will use the given car for special communication and transportation of important documentation.
«The assistance provided to us by Metinvest undoubtedly allows us to carry out combat tasks more effectively and to bring our victory closer,» says the head of the intelligence unit of the Marine Corps brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As GMK Center rpeorted earlier, Metinvest handed over to the doctors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 30 ambulances worth approximately UAH 18 million. The cars were assembled for more than a month, all of them were delivered from Italy
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the company sent for help 3.7 billion UAH to the state and its citizens, more than 2 billion UAH of which are for the needs of the army through Rinat Akhmetov’s «Steel Front» military initiative.
