Zaporizhvognetryv, the largest producer of refractory products in Ukraine, produced 96 thousand tons of products in 2024, up 25% year-on-year. This is stated in the company’s press release.
“Despite the difficult conditions caused by the full-scale war, Zaporizhvognetryv demonstrates stable operation and significant growth in production performance. The main consumers of our products are representatives of the metallurgical, food, energy and coke industries,” the company said.
These results were achieved thanks to a systematic approach to production modernization. The company regularly updates its equipment and introduces innovative working methods. This has reduced the level of emergency and unplanned equipment downtime by more than 20% compared to 2023.
“I am grateful to every employee for their professionalism, perseverance and joint efforts that have allowed us to achieve these results. Our strategic objective for 2025 is to maintain our sales markets and, together with our partners, continue to support the Ukrainian economy,” commented Artur Ivanchenko, CEO of Zaporizhvognetryv.
As GMK Center reported earlier, Zaporizhvognetryv produced 72.65 thousand tons of refractory products in 2023. The level of products fit for purpose from the first presentation in the divisions was about 98%. In 2022, the company produced more than 73 thousand tons of products.
Zaporizhvognetryv produces chamotte, mullite, mullite, mullite-corundum, periclase, periclase-chromite products, silicon carbide electric heaters and unmolded refractory materials. The company’s products are widely used in Ukraine, as well as in Europe, Asia and Africa.
