Andrey Korotkov will remain with the company as Chief Operating Officer

Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has announced the appointment of a new CEO, Luca Zanotti. The previous CEO, Andriy Korotkov, will remain in the top management and take up the position of COO.

The company notes that Korotkov played a key role in Interpipe’s stability during the full-scale war.

“We are grateful to Andriy Korotkov for his unwavering leadership in guiding the Company through an extremely challenging period in Ukraine following Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. His dedication, experience and resilience have been instrumental and he will continue to contribute to the strengthening, growth and development of Interpipe,” said Fadi Khraibe, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

At the same time, Mr. Khraibe expressed hope that Luca Zanotti’s experience will contribute to the company’s growth.

“We are delighted to welcome Luca Zanotti as CEO of Interpipe. His extensive experience in the pipe industry and in-depth knowledge of key international markets will be a significant asset. We are confident that under his leadership, Interpipe will continue to change its position in the industry and accelerate its growth,” added Fadi Khraibe.

Prior to joining Interpipe, Luca Zanotti held senior positions at Tenaris, including President of the United States and Europe. He has experience in procurement, management consulting and business development on several continents. Zanotti is an Italian citizen, holds a master’s degree in electronic engineering and is a graduate of the SDA Bocconi MBA program.

“I am honored to take on this position. “Interpipe has consistently demonstrated resilience, competitiveness and strong potential. What is most impressive is the strength and determination of its people, who continue to develop and promote the Company despite the extraordinary challenges caused by the war. I look forward to working closely with the team to drive further growth for the benefit of the company, its employees and local communities,” Zanotti said.

As a reminder, Andriy Korotkov was appointed CEO of Interpipe in March 2022. Due to force majeure, the company terminated the contract with former CEO Franz Josef Marx.
