The company was also awarded in the nomination «Support of veterans and their families»
Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has been named one of the top 50 best employers in Ukraine, according to a ranking compiled by NV magazine in cooperation with Odgers Berndtson Ukraine.
“This list gives employees, shareholders and investors an idea of which companies in Ukraine are doing their best to support their employees during the war,” says NV.
NV and Odgers Berndtson initially selected the 152 largest companies by revenue and number of employees. They were segmented into industry groups and invited to participate in the rating, which focused on HR practices. Seventy-two companies agreed to disclose their cases in special questionnaires.
Project experts evaluated employers in three categories:
- support for veterans and their families;
- material and non-material motivation of staff;
- support for employee well-being.
The results were presented in the form of a top 50, structured by industry, providing not a ranking, but a list of leaders according to experts. Additionally, the editors listed 20 leaders in each of the three categories.
A prerequisite for participation in the project was the involvement of demobilized employees in an independent external survey. It was their feedback on the experience of returning to work at Interpipe that led to the company’s high ranking in the Support for Veterans and Their Families nomination.
According to Interpipe, the company will continue to make every effort to return demobilized soldiers to civilian life as soon as possible, providing them with proper medical, legal and psychological support.
As GMK Center reported earlier, Interpipe raised salaries for all categories of employees on March 1 this year. As reported, the average salary increase was 20%. The increase concerned blue-collar workers at the plants in Dnipro, Nikopol and Novomoskovsk. In addition, the salaries of line managers in production, as well as engineers, specialists and managers of the company’s Ukrainian office, were raised. Interpipe regularly raises employee salaries and qualifications, trains new specialists and provides internships for students.
