
Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant
Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NFP) produces ferroalloys (ferrosilicomanganese and ferromanganese), welding fluxes, manganese sinter ore, granular slag and crushed stone, and anode paste for domestic production needs. In 1993, the plant opened a knitwear shop manufacturing women’s lingerie and tights under Nika trademark.
The plant is export-oriented — its ferroalloy products are exported to more than 50 countries all over the globe. In 2017, the share of export was 64%.

2021
The NFP investment plan for 2021 is UAH 317 million, of which UAH 33 million – for the development of production, UAH 78 million – for environmental projects.
The plan for the production and implementation of NFP for 2021 assumes a decrease in indicators by 18% in relation to 2020.
2020
The gross volume of emissions of harmful substances at the NFP in 2020 decreased by 24.3%. Dust emissions amounted to 629 thousand tons per year, greenhouse gases – 1.09 million tons.
2019
In 2019, NFP plans to produce 738 ths tons of ferroalloys, incl. 710 ths tons of ferrosilicomanganese and 28 ths tons of ferromanganese.
In 2016
Tthe Eurasian Economic Commission imposed a 26.35% anti-dumping duty on ferrosilicomanganese imports from Ukraine. The duty applies to products of Nikopol, Zaporizhzhia and Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plants. The duty has been imposed for five years.
In 2017
The capacity for the production of ferrosilicomanganese was utilized by 83.0%, high carbon ferromanganese (Mn 75%–82%) by 71.4%, and middle carbon ferromanganese (Mn 85%–95%) by 95.7%.
