The global market of hot-dip galvanized coils will continue to grow

Hot-dip galvanized coils steadily hold about 10% of the global rolled products market. Such situation is expected to preserve on a medium-term horizon.

According to western analysts, global consumption of hot-dip galvanized coils in 2019 will grow by 2.3%, up to 173 million tons. Over five years, from 2018 to 2022, it will increase by 7.7%, up to 182 million tons.

Ukraine is a different story. Very few people in our country dare make a five-year forecast. Nevertheless, this segment is forecast to steadily grow this year.
