
Pokrov GOK (Mining and Processing Plant)
Pokrov Mining and Processing Plant GOK (Pokrov GOK, former Ordzhonikidze GOK) mines 70% of manganese ore in Ukraine. Its raw material base is represented by the eastern section of Nikopol manganese ore deposit (429.1 million tons of reserves).
Its main products are manganese concentrate (26% to 43% Mn) and manganese sinter ore. Its products are mainly sold in the Ukrainian market. Its main buyers are Nikopol and Zaporizhzhia ferroalloy plants.

Key facts
In November 2016
Pokrov GOK extended the special license for the subsoil use until August 2036.
In December 2017
A repreparation line for production of manganese concentrate from sludge was put into operation.
2019
Pokrov GOK reconstructed the rotary complex No. 9 of Chkalovskyi quarry No. 2. The reconstruction of the complex included the overhaul, modernization of the machine, restoration of main components, including working areas and personal service rooms.

Pokrovsky GOK won the right to develop a new manganese deposit
