Kametstal has expanded the range of export products with rebar B500B

Steel plant Kametstal has expanded the range of products that meet the requirements of both domestic and foreign consumers. The plant received a certificate of conformity of international standard for rebar steel of class B500B. This is stated in the press release of the enterprise.

The certification process of rebar steel of V500V class with a diameter of 8 to 32 mm, which is produced at the plant, has been successfully completed. According to its results, a certificate of conformity No. 020-UWB-3057/W was obtained, which allows supplying such products to customers in Poland.

The certificate confirms the compliance of rebar steel with two national technical assessments (CAT) issued by the Polish Institute of Construction Technologies and the Polish Research Institute of Roads and Bridges – both are valid until 2028.

«Obtaining a certificate of international standard was preceded by considerable work of the company’s specialists. Product samples were sent to Poland for testing by the testing and certification body “ZETOM.” Based on these tests, national technical assessments were issued, which became the basis for the certification of products conducted online. Thanks to the successful teamwork, Kametstal once again confirmed its position in the market and was able to supply V500V class fittings with a diameter of 8-32 mm to Polish consumers, «the company summarizes.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Kametstal has mastered a new type of profitable metal products on a mill 400/200 – a round profile with a diameter of 27 mm. This is the second novelty that the distributors of the plant have added to the range of steel products of the enterprise since the beginning of the year.
